Adam Sturtevant studied drums at Berklee College of Music and received an MFA in fiction from the Michener Center for Writers. His fiction has appeared in The Boston Review, Copper Nickel, The Chariton Review, and other journals. He was the winner of the 2009 Boston Review Fiction Contest, a finalist for the Katherine Anne Porter Prize and the Flannery O’Connor Award, and a Pushcart Prize nominee. He currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and son.
